Become A Legend
You've climbed to the highest peak of Fantasia and stand steps away from the Hall of Legends. Memories of old Legends are kept here so they may never die. Confront and conquer them all to write a Legend of your own.
Main mechanics
- Time your blocks to parry the enemy.
- Repeated parries will lead to the enemy taking higher Balance damage.
- Parrying the enemy enough will stun them shortly putting them in a off-balance state and giving you the chance to deal massive damage.
- Look for openings to counter attack the enemy with your light attacks.
- Gain mana by parrying the enemy and dealing damage to them and use it to deal even more damage with heavy attacks.
- You can hold the heavy attack button down to charge your attacks.
- Activate special abilities by gaining Mana to get an advantage over your enemy!
Controller Support
Game is completely compatible with a gamepad right now and I recommend using it to play!
Current State
This is basically the first prototype I've put together and polished for myself. My end goal is to create a Boss Rush game with precise and satisfying combat. For this prototype, I would just like to gather feedback on how the combat feels. I want to know if the parries feel satisfying, if dealing damage to the enemies feels good and if the controls feels easy to grasp! If you have any ideas or feedback regarding these things, please leave a comment about it and if you happen to record the gameplay and upload a link to it, that would be even more awesome!
